Reconnect Lightspeed X to PETZ


From time to time, updates to the PETZ software or Lightspeed X may require you to refresh the connection between the two systems. If this happens, don’t worry—it’s a quick and simple process! You won’t need to create a new user; you’ll just need to disconnect and then reconnect PETZ to keep everything running smoothly. If this happens please follow the steps listed below to disconnect and reconnect. 

Steps:

  1. In your Lightspeed X portal go to the Setup portion, this is a small Gear Icon in the bottom left of the side bar.
  2. Once inside of the Setup, click on the Apps section.
  3. You will then see in your Connected Apps section at the top "PETZ".
  4. Click the trash can icon to remove the connection to PETZ and on the form click the red Disconnect PETZ button.
  5. After that follow this link to reconnect: https://dash.petz.net/enroll/lightspeed
  6. Select Lightspeed X as the option. 
  7. This will then take you into Lightspeed X where it asks you to confirm the connection. Select confirm.
  8. All of your existing data will remain intact including user login information.
